Top Shore Excursions for your Carnival Spirit 8 Night Key West, Celebration Key, Nassau & More Cruise

Q: What time is my ship in Key West?

Carnival Spirit is in Key West on Monday, March 8, 2027, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If the cruise line changes those hours, we’ll move your tour to a time that fits or refund it in full, except on bookings marked All Sales Final.

Q: What time should my tour end?

Carnival Spirit sails from Key West at 4:00 pm. Pick a tour that ends by 2:00 pm: that gives you at least an hour before all-aboard, and Guaranteed Return to Ship has you covered. Each tour page shows how long the tour lasts.

Q: Where will my ship dock in Key West?

Carnival Spirit usually docks at Pier B, a 5 to 10 minute walk from Duval Street. Most of our tours start a short walk from the pier, and your booking confirmation shows exactly where to meet.

Q: Can I book tours for my other ports?

Yes. Your cruise also stops in Celebration Key, Nassau and Half Moon Cay. Each day of your cruise has its own tab on this page. Tours for your other ports are on our parent site, Cool Destinations.

Q: Why book shore excursions with Cool Key West instead of my cruise line?

You often pay less than for a similar tour through the ship, and you choose from every tour in port instead of the ship’s shortlist. You keep the same peace of mind: Guaranteed Return to Ship, free cancellation on most tours and help 24/7.

Q: Can I book for a group, children or someone with limited mobility?

Yes. Groups can book online, up to each tour’s limit. For groups of 10 or more, call us and our group bookings team will help. Each tour page lists its age limits, child prices and accessibility details. If you need to check something specific, call us before you book.

Q: Do I earn rewards on shore excursions?

Yes. Shore excursions earn rewards like every booking you make directly with Cool Key West, and you can spend them on your next trip. See how rewards work.

Q: What does Guaranteed Return to Ship mean?

Book a tour that ends at least an hour before all-aboard. If a delay on that tour ever makes you miss your ship, Cool Key West pays to get you to the ship’s next port of call, including a hotel if you need one.

Q: How much time should I leave before all-aboard?

Pick a tour that ends at least an hour before all-aboard (all-aboard is usually 30 to 60 minutes before your ship sails). Your cruise page shows the hours your ship is in Key West, and each tour page shows how long the tour lasts. Booking two tours on the same day? Leave at least an hour between them. Book this way and our Guaranteed Return to Ship has you covered.

Q: What if my ship arrives late or its hours in port change?

Change your tour yourself under Bookings in your account, or call us any time. We’ll move you to a time that fits your new hours, and if none does, you get a full refund, except on bookings marked All Sales Final.

What time is my ship in Key West?

What time should my tour end?

Where will my ship dock in Key West?

Can I book tours for my other ports?

Why book shore excursions with Cool Key West instead of my cruise line?

Can I book for a group, children or someone with limited mobility?

Do I earn rewards on shore excursions?

What does Guaranteed Return to Ship mean?

How much time should I leave before all-aboard?

What if my ship arrives late or its hours in port change?

What if my ship skips Key West?

What's the best way to see Key West in a day in port?

We live here: our team has lived in Key West for years, and the tip we give every cruise guest is to rent a golf cart or an electric car. The island is small, but the sights are spread out, and a cart lets you see the Southernmost Point, the Hemingway Home, the beaches and Mallory Square at your own pace and still be back before all-aboard. You’ll find carts and electric cars under Transport on your day in Key West.

Where do I meet my tour?

What should I bring ashore?

Who do I contact if something goes wrong on the day?

Can I cancel my shore excursion?

What if my tour is canceled because of the weather?

Can I change my shore excursion after booking?

Is Cool Key West legit?

Yes, Cool Key West is a legit business. We are a registered travel and excursion booking platform based in Florida, serving customers worldwide. We hold active licenses with the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services and maintain strong customer ratings across major review platforms.

On Trustpilot, we maintain a high rating, with users frequently praising our guides’ professionalism, the quality of our local tours, and our customer support. We are officially registered with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as a professionally licensed travel agency with an A+ rating. In addition to stellar Trustpilot & BBB ratings, we feature activity reviews collected by Cool Key West and partner sites such as Viator and TripAdvisor
