A cozy, casual bar in an old Victorian house on the corner of Duval and Caroline Street, The Porch is tucked away from the main drag and partially obscured from outside view by a large garden; a welcome oasis away from the Duval Street madness. It’s a friendly little bar that welcomes all happy people. Although geared toward a local’s crowd, The Porch invites all good people to join in their fun. They feature Key West’s best variety of craft beers (a rotating selection) and the fine wines they offer are served by cool and knowledgeable bartenders, and there’s a never ending supply of good times (this is also a big off-duty bartender hangout). This is a place where true connoisseurs can drink serious brews or a fine Bordeaux.
The Porch is a welcome respite from the heat and humidity of summer in Key West, but if you so choose, there are plenty of chairs outside as well. This place is a great non-touristy find! So, while in Key West, if you’re thinking about having a proper pint or a noteworthy wine, The Porch is the place to do that.
